Personal Data is the employee database tab that includes Basic Info, Family, and Emergency Contact. In this section, you will learn how to manage employee Personal Data on the General Info Tab.
A. How to Manage Employee Basic Info
In Basic Info, you can manage employee data consisting of Personal Data and Identity & Address. Here are the steps.
Go to the "Employees" menu and then select Employee Directory.
Then click the employee's name.
Next, click the "General" tab, then select Personal.
You can change the employee's information by clicking “Edit” to modify the personal data.
Click "Full Name" to edit the employee’s name.

Enter changes to the employee’s contact information in the Mobile Phone, Email, and Phone fields.
Email is required as it will be used by the employee to log in to Talenta ESS.

Enter changes to the place and date of birth in the Place of Birth and Birthdate fields.
Birthdate is required as it will be the default password for the employee to access payslips on Talenta ESS.

Enter changes to gender in the Gender field and marital status in the Marital Status field.
Marital Status is required because it can affect the formulation of the employee’s payroll components.
Enter changes to blood type in the Blood Type field and religion in the Religion field.
Then click “Save Changes” to save the changes to the employee’s Personal Data.
Next, you can also update the employee’s identity and address information by clicking “Edit” on Identity & Address.
Enter changes to the employee’s ID type in ID type.
Enter changes to the employee’s ID number in ID number.
Enter changes to the ID expiration date in ID expiration date or check Permanent if there is no expiration date.
Enter changes to the employee’s postal code in Postal Code.
Enter changes to the address on the ID card in City ID Address.
Enter changes to the residential address in Residential Address, or check Use as residential address if it is the same as the address on the ID card.

Then click “Save Changes” to save the changes to the employee’s Identity & Address.

B. How to Manage Family Info

To add new family data, follow these steps.
Select the Personal Info tab, then click “Family”.
You can add family information by clicking “Add New”.
Click "Full Name" to enter the full name of the family member.
Click "Relationship" to enter the relationship to the employee.
Click "Gender" to enter the family member’s gender.

Click "Birthdate" to enter the family member’s date of birth.
You can enter additional information such as:
- Add to Emergency Contact: If the added family contact is also an emergency contact for the employee.
- Address: The family member’s residential address;
- ID Number: The family member’s identification number;
- Religion: The family member’s religion;
- Marital Status: The family member’s marital status;
- Job: The family member’s occupation. -
Click “Save” to save.
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
You can import employee family information in bulk by clicking “Import”. Make sure the document you import matches the template provided by Talenta.

Or export employee family information by clicking “Export”.
There are two export buttons:
- Export Template: button to download the template provided by Talenta if you want to input employee family data in bulk via Import.
- Export Data: button to download the employee family information already stored in Talenta. You can view the employee’s family information in the Family Data Table.
And adjust the display of employee information by clicking “Showing”.
C. How to Manage Emergency Contact
Here is an overview of the Emergency Contact display:

Click "Phone number" to enter a phone number that can be contacted.
