Compensation Planning Submenu Overview

The Compensation planning submenu page under the Payroll menu is designed to automate remuneration management through budget settings and an integrated salary review cycle. By utilizing the automatic eligibility system and salary adjustment matrix, HR Admins can ensure that proposed wage or compensation increases align with the budget as well as the company’s structure and approvals.

Important
This feature is by default accessible to Super Admins. However, access for other roles can be customized on the settings page. Learn about setting Access roles here.

Below is a brief guide to the Compensation planning page.

  1. In the “Payroll” menu, click Compensation planning.

  2. You will be directed to the Compensation planning page as shown below.

2. Create compensation planning Click to create a new compensation increase plan. Learn the guide here.
3. Filter based on status Use this feature to filter created compensation planning data based on its status.
4. Search bar Type specific keywords to search data based on those keywords.
5. Compensation name This name can be clicked to go to the detailed page.
6. Status

You can monitor the status of the Compensation planning you have created. The explanations are as follows:

  • Draft: This status is assigned after you “Submit” the creation of a Compensation planning. At this stage, the submission is still a proposal that requires Approval line approval. Therefore, you need to check the details before submitting it.
  • Awaiting approval: This status means you have submitted for approval and your plan is waiting for approval from the Approval line that has been created. Generally, this line is held by Department Heads, HR, Finance, up to Management. The Approval line will receive an email to approve this submission.
  • Rejected: Your Compensation planning submission was not approved by one or more parties in the Approval line.
  • Ready to push: This status means the Compensation planning is ready to be implemented.
  • Finalized: This status means the Compensation planning has been successfully implemented.
7. Actions Click to perform certain actions on the Compensation planning data, such as View details, Edit, and Delete.
