How to Set Job Levels in Mekari Talenta Modular

Mekari Talenta Launchpad - Modular Solutions provides companies the flexibility to operate the Talenta Recruitment and Performance & Talent Management features independently without needing to use the full Talenta HRIS package.

As a Super Admin, you have full control to manage the organizational structure, employee information, and job level settings more efficiently. This guide explains the steps to create and manage job levels or employee position levels within your company through the Talenta Launchpad platform.

  1. Go to https://launchpad.talenta.co

  2. To go to the job levels settings page, select the “Company” menu, then choose Job levels.

A. Add Job Level

This section explains the steps to add employee position levels individually on Mekari Talenta Launchpad. Here are the details.

  1. On the Job levels page, click “New job level”, then select Add job level.

  2. You will then be able to fill out the New job level form. Enter the Job level name with the name of the position level and the Job level code with the position level code.

  3. Once the form is completely filled, click “Save”.

  4. The employee job level will be successfully saved, and you will be redirected back to the Job levels list page.

  5. On this list, you can see the status of the organization in the Status column. Additionally, you can use the “Show inactive organization” feature to display only inactive organizations.

B. Import Job Level

This section explains the steps to add employee job levels in bulk using the Excel file import feature. Here are the details.

  1. On the Job levels page, click “New job level”, then select Import job level.

  2. You will be directed to the Import job levels page. Click “Download template” to download the Excel job levels template.

  3. In the downloaded file, complete the Job level and Job level code columns following the format shown in the example. Make sure to save the file before proceeding to the next step.

  4. Return to the Import job level page in Talenta Launchpad. Upload the file by clicking “Browse” or by dragging and dropping the file into the Drop your file(s) box below.

    Important
    The uploaded file must be in XLSX format with a maximum size of 5 MB.

  5. After the file has finished uploading, click “Import”.

    You can delete the uploaded file by clicking the “x” icon.

  6. You will then be redirected back to the Job levels page where you can see the list of job levels that have been successfully imported.

C. Edit, Deactivate/Activate, and Delete Job Level

On the Job levels list, you can manage existing job levels, such as editing, deactivating/activating, and deleting them. Here are the details.

  1. To edit information on a job level from the list, click “Actions” then select Edit.

  2. To deactivate a job level from the list, click “Actions” then choose Deactivate. If you want to activate it again, click “Actions” then select Activate. 

    You cannot deactivate a job level that has already been assigned to an active employee.

  3. If you need to delete a job level when it is no longer in use, click “Actions” then choose Delete.

    You cannot delete a job level that has already been assigned to an active employee.

  4. When deleting a job level, a confirmation pop-up will appear as shown below. You can click “Delete” to confirm the deletion.
