The recruitment process generally involves a candidate personality assessment. This stage aims to help recruiters understand the candidate's character, potential, and suitability for the position and company culture. In addition to the DISC and PAPI Kostick personality assessment tests, the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) is also increasingly popular in the recruitment process.
Through Mekari Talenta Recruitment, you can use the MBTI assessment feature in your company's recruitment process. MBTI test results help you get a more comprehensive picture, but they're even more accurate when combined with candidate data, interview results, and other assessments. Follow these steps to invite candidates to take the MBTI test.
Under Recruitment, select “Candidates”.
-
Make sure the candidate is in the Assessments stage. You can view the MBTI assessment status.
The following is an explanation of the status in the MBTI assessment status column:
- Submitted: The MBTI test results have been submitted by the candidate.
- Expired: The MBTI test you sent to this candidate has exceeded the deadline you set.
- Not invited yet: You have not yet sent the MBTI test to this candidate.
- Sent: You have successfully sent the MBTI test to this candidate. Select the name of the candidate to whom you will send an invitation for the virtual MBTI test. To be able to send an invitation, this candidate must have an MBTI assessment status of ‘Not invited yet’.
On the candidate details page, you can click “Invite to assessment” and then click “Invite for MBTI assessment”.
Next, you can fill out the invitation form as shown below. Specify the test start time by filling in the "Start Date" and "Time" fields as the earliest deadline. Then, specify the "Due Date" and "Time" fields. You can also optionally add notes in the "Note" field. Then, click “Send via email” to send an invitation to take the MBTI test.
Candidates can open an email from no-reply@talenta.co with test details as follows. As a recruiter, you can direct candidates to open the Assessment link to begin taking the test.
Once the invitation is successfully sent, the MBTI assessment status will change to ‘Sent’.
Next, once the candidate has completed the test, the MBTI assessment status will change to ‘Submitted’ and the MBTI results will appear under the candidate’s name. You can click the candidate’s name to open the details.
Select the “Assessments” tab, then click the “three-dot” icon. You can select “View MBTI assessment result” to view the test results page or “Download MBTI assessment result” to download the test results.
Here's an example of what it will look like if you select "View MBTI assessment result." You can also download the results by clicking "Download."
