In the recruitment process, after going through the Screening stage, the next step is usually to move stage to the Assessment stage. At this stage, candidates are required to complete a series of evaluation tests provided by the recruiting company. Through Mekari Talenta, recruiters can invite candidates individually or in bulk to take the assessment using the Invite Assessment feature. Here are the steps.
Go to the “Candidate” menu.

Click the “Screening” tab and then select a candidate’s name.

You can also invite candidates to take the assessment in bulk by checking the names of the candidates. Then, click “Move to”, and select one of the assessments you want to send. -
Then click “Move stage” and select one of the assessments you want to send under the Assessment section.

Then, the following display will appear. Choose the task location, which consists of On-site and Online.
- If you want the candidate to complete the task On-site, you can fill in the office address and room details in the Office field.
- If you want the candidate to complete the task Online, you can fill in the URL link in the Assessment link field. Next, fill in the Date and Time for the On-site Assessment if you want the candidate to complete the task at the office.
If you want the candidate to complete the Assessment Online, fill in the Due date and Time fields as shown below.
Then you can check the toggle below to send the Invitation via email.
Next, fill in the task execution instructions. These instructions will appear in the Invitation email to the candidate.

Next, if needed, click “Choose file” to upload attachments. After the attachment is successfully uploaded to the system, you can click “Attach assessment file on the email” to include the attachment in the email sent to the candidate.
In the Invite for Assessment form for certain test series that have been set up, you may find an additional section to fill out, namely the Assessment section as shown below.
Notes:
1. Start date and Time (mandatory): Set the test start date and time. You must select a time at least 5 minutes ahead.
2. Due date and Time (mandatory): Set the test end date and time. Choose the test closing time according to the test duration.
3. Instructions (optional): Fill in the test execution instructions. Then specify the Assessor who will evaluate the candidate’s Assessment. You can also add more than one Assessor by clicking “Add assessor”.
Once all data has been filled in, you can click “Preview email” to view the preview of the Assessment invitation email for the candidate.
The email preview will appear as shown below. Make sure all the content is correct, then click “Send”.

- The scheduled Assessment that has been successfully uploaded can be Canceled, Edited, or Submitted.
