How to Create an Individual Job Listing in New Talenta Recruitment

Mekari Talenta provides a supporting application, New Talenta Recruitment, to support recruitment functions within a company. In this section, you will learn the steps for adding a new job opening for your company. These steps begin with completing the job details, applicant form, hiring stage, and hiring team, and end with managing the publication settings. Learn more in the following steps.

A. Job Details

The first step in adding a job opening is creating the job details. The following are the steps.

  1. Go to the Job listings menu.

  2. Click “Create job listing”.

    Important
    If you subscribe to the Ultimate Hire plan, you can access the AI Candidate Scoring feature. Therefore, completing the Job posting data will significantly affect the results of the AI score.

  3. You will then be directed to the following Job details form page. Begin by filling in the General information, which consists of information about the job, starting from the job title and work location to the salary and other details. The following is an explanation.

    1 Job position

    Specify the job position that is open at your company. You can also add a new job position in Job position settings.

    2 Job listing title Optionally, you can enter the job title that will be displayed on your job portal or career page. This title can differ from the previously entered Job Position. With this feature, recruiters can display a more appealing and relevant job title for candidates without affecting the company’s data structure or internal reporting.
    3 Branch location

    Specify the job location (optional).

    You can also add a new job location in Branch settings.

    4 Province Select one province for this job opening (optional).
    5 City

    After selecting a province, city options will appear for you to choose from.

    This field is optional and only needs to be completed if you select Province.

    6 Organization

    Specify the organization type (optional).

    You can also add a new organization in Organization settings.

    7 Team You can categorize candidates by a specific team if the candidate’s organization or branch has not been set in the database of Mekari Talenta HRIS. You can also add a team by clicking “Add new”.

    Enter the new team’s name in the Team name field, then click “Add”.
    8 Employment type

    Select the employee status type you want to recruit.

    9 Workplace type

    Select the type of work you want to offer.

    10 Headcount needed

    Enter the number of employees needed. You can check Show headcount needed on the career page to display the headcount to prospective employees. If you do not want to display it, you do not need to select this option.

    11 Salary range

    Enter the Salary range. You can check Show salary range in career page to display the salary range to prospective employees. If you do not want to display it, you do not need to select this option.

    You can change the currency by clicking the “down arrow” icon next to the currency.

    12 Salary description

    Enter a description of the salary range you entered.

  4. Next, complete the Job Information, which consists of Description, Requirements, Benefits, and Job summary.

    1. Description You must provide an explanation of this job opening with a maximum of 2,500 characters. You can use the text formatting options on the bar available in this field to format the text, such as bold, italics, bullets, and numbering.
    2. Requirements You must provide the requirements for applying for this job opening with a maximum of 2,500 characters. You can use the text formatting options on the bar available in this field to format headings, bold, italics, links, text color, bullets, and numbering.
    3. Benefits

    You must provide the benefits candidates will receive after being accepted for this position, with a maximum of 2,500 characters. You can use the text formatting options on the bar available in this field to format headings, bold, italics, links, text color, bullets, and numbering.

    Select “Benefits on career page” to display this field on the career page. For JobStreet, this field must be displayed.

    4. Job summary Briefly explain this job opening in a maximum of 150 characters.
  5. Then, under Experience & qualifications, complete the information for Education, Experience level, Minimum experience, Gender, and Age range.

    1 Education Enter the minimum education requirement completed by the prospective employee.
    2 Experience level Enter the prospective employee’s required work experience level.
    3 Minimum experience Enter the minimum duration of the prospective employee’s work experience.
    4 Gender Enter the prospective employee’s gender.
    5 Age range Enter the minimum and maximum age of the prospective employee.
  6. Then click “Continue” to proceed with creating the Job listing and complete the applicant form.

    You can also click “Save as draft” if you want to postpone completing the Applicant form.

B. Applicant form

After completing the Job details, you will proceed to configure the Applicant form. The form includes the following field types: Paragraph, Short Answer, Yes/No, Dropdown, Multiple Choice, Date, Number, and File Upload. The detailed steps are as follows.

  1. Under Personal information, you can determine which fields will appear and be required on the recruitment page. Select Mandatory if candidates must complete the field, and click the Enabled/Disabled toggle button to show or hide the field on the form.

    By default, the system sets the First name, Last name, and Email address fields as Enabled and Mandatory, and these settings cannot be changed.

  2. Next, under Identity & address, you can also determine which fields will appear and be required on the recruitment page. Select Mandatory if candidates must complete the field, and click the Enabled/Disabled toggle button to show or hide the field on the form.

    By default, the system sets the NIK (NPWP 16 digits) field as Enabled and Mandatory, and this setting cannot be changed.

  3. Under Identity & address, select Mandatory if candidates must complete the field, and click the Enabled/Disabled toggle button to show or hide the field. In this section, candidates can enter more than one piece of information in each field.

  4. Under Compensation and Attachment, you can also determine which fields will appear and be required for candidates to complete. Select Mandatory if candidates must complete the field. Click the Enabled/Disabled toggle button to show or hide the field on the form.

    By default, the system sets the Resume field as Enabled and Mandatory, and this setting cannot be changed.

  5. You can also add questions that prospective employees must answer by clicking “Add question”.

    You cannot delete or cancel questions that have already been answered by candidates.

  6. Enter the question in the following field, with a maximum of 200 characters. Select the answer type that candidates must provide. If the question is required, select ‘Set as required’.

    - Specify the Answer type that candidates can use. You can choose Paragraph, Short Answer, Yes/No, Dropdown, Multiple Choice, Date, Number, and File Upload.

    - For example, if you select multiple choice, you can add options by clicking “Add option”, then enter each option’s answer. You can delete an option by clicking the “-” icon and change its position by clicking the “six-dot” icon. To add an option for another reason, click “Add other”.

    - You can change the order of the questions by clicking the “six-dot” icon. You can also delete a Custom Question field by clicking the “-” icon.

  7. You can integrate the New Talenta Recruitment Applicant Form with New Joiner by selecting Map to employee custom field if the employee passes the recruitment process. Learn more here.

  8. Next, click “Continue” to proceed to the Hiring stage.
