Why was the Mekari Talenta menu moved from the top to the left?
This change was made so that Mekari Talenta could:
- Provide more space to display more features and modules without the menu being truncated.
- Simplify navigation as features increase, without having to rely on lengthy dropdowns.
- Align the user experience with more modern software UX (User Experience) standards, including other products in the Mekari ecosystem. To better understand Mekari Talenta's new look, you can read the explanation here.

For me, who's used to the top menu navigation, what are the advantages of the sidebar over the top menu?
We understand that changes to the UI (User Interface) take time to adapt to. However, from a UX (User Experience) perspective, the sidebar or menu bar on the side of the page offers several advantages, such as:
- Faster vertical navigation (from top to bottom).
- Supports more complex and growing menu structures without disrupting the main display.
- Provides room for feature development, such as menu search, favorites, and AI Assistant.
-
Why not give me the option to use the old layout?
We considered that option, but maintaining two navigation layouts (old and new) would increase complexity, slow down development, and create inconsistencies between users. Our current focus is refining the new navigation to provide the best possible experience for all users.

Why do some submenus automatically reopen after I click on a new menu? Closed?
The Mekari Talenta team has noted this issue as a bug and is currently working on a fix. Ideally, the system would remember the user's last used menu preferences.
-
I feel like I'm misclicking more often, or the process is taking longer. Why is that?
This issue is currently being fixed, especially concerning menu responsiveness, to make it more consistent and prevent it from auto-expanding when not needed.
