In Talenta, there is a feature to add attendance locations and assign each employee's work location in bulk, which you can access through the Mobile Location Setting that functions to manage settings in Live Attendance.
Important
Before you can access or edit the page in Live attendance settings, make sure you have been granted access to this page. To check your access, you can contact the Super Admin/Admin who has access to the access role settings. The Live attendance setting access can be seen in the Custom type, under Live Attendance Configuration.
Here are the steps:
Go to Settings, select Time, then click “Live Attendance”.
Click the “Location set up” tab.
A. Adding Work Locations in Bulk
If you want to add work locations in bulk, select the Location tab. Then, click the “Export” icon and then click “Export location setting”.
Then, click “View Inbox” to continue.
You will then be directed to the Talenta inbox menu, and you can click the message Export Location Settings.
Click “here” to download the template.

Complete the location information you want to add by filling in the available columns.
- If you choose Flexible Location, you can fill the Type column with the number 0, and you do not need to fill in the Location Name, Coordinate, and Radius information.
- If you choose a specific location to be used as the work location, you must fill in the number 1 in the Type column, and you must fill in the information in the Location Name, Coordinate, and Radius columns.
- You can read the filling instructions by hovering your cursor over the column headers before filling in the columns. If you want to add more than one point within one location, you can fill in the location information with the same Location Setting Name and give the location point name in the Location Name column.
Once you have completed the location information you added, you can click the “Import” icon and then select Import location setting.
Choose the file you want to import.
The following pop-up will appear, you can click “View Inbox” to see your import status.
Then select the inbox Import File Setting Live Attendance
The message will show that the import you performed was successful.
B. Assigning Employee Work Locations in Bulk
To add employee location settings in bulk, you can click the “Import” icon and then select Import assigned employee.
Select the names of the employees whose template you want to download by clicking “Select employee”.
When you click “Select employee”, the following pop-up appears. You can select the names of the employees you want to download the template for from the name list on the left, so they move to the selected list on the right. Then, click “Assign employee”.
After that, click “Download template”. The Excel file will be automatically downloaded. You can complete the Excel file by following the guidelines provided in the column headers.
In the pop-up that appears, click “View inbox”.
You will be directed to the Inbox page in a new tab. Click the message titled “Location Setting Assignment Export”.
Then, in the message content, click “here”.

You can then open the template that has been downloaded. You can assign employee work locations in the Location Setting name column. After making changes, make sure to save the file.
- You must fill in the Employee ID.
- To assign a location, you can fill in the location name under the Location Setting name column header.
- To cancel a location assignment, you can leave the Location Setting name of the employee that has been filled with the location name empty.
- To change the assigned location, you can change the location name under the Location Setting name column header.
- You can read the tooltip for filling the template by hovering your cursor over the column headers. Next, you can return to your Mekari Talenta page, click “Browse” or drag and drop the file to select the completed Excel template spreadsheet. Click “Upload” to upload the file.
If the Super Admin activates the multiple location setting feature, before uploading the file, you can select one Import type before clicking “Browse”.
- Assignment: To assign location settings to employees in bulk.
- Replacement: To change the current employee location settings to new ones.The following pop-up will appear. You can click “View Inbox” to check your import status.
Then, select the inbox Import Assign Location Setting.
The message will state that the import you performed was successful, as shown below.
However, if there is an error during the import process, you will receive a message as shown below. In this example case, on certain rows, you exceeded the location determination limit that can be processed by the system.
To ensure whether employees have been successfully added, you can click Employee under the Assigned to section on the location you previously selected.
And you can see the list of employees you added to that location.
