How to add Mobile Location Settings individually

If your company uses Mobile Attendance, you can set the location for employee attendance needs. In this section, you will learn how to manage settings on Live Attendance. Reports can be viewed by Superadmin or Admin, with information displayed related to the details of Live Attendance performed by employees.

Important
Before you can access or edit the page in the Live attendance setting, make sure you have been given access to this page. To check the access you have, you can contact the Super Admin/Admin who has access to the access role settings. This Live attendance setting access settings can be seen in the Custom type, Live Attendance Configuration section.

Follow these steps to add mobile location settings individually on Talenta:

  1. On the Talenta Dashboard, go to the Settings menu.

  2. Then on the Time tab, click Live Attendance.

    You can also access this page via the Time menu, then click Attendance, then Location.

  3. Click the “Location set up” tab.

  4. Click the “Create location setting” button to add the attendance location.

  5. Enter the name of the attendance location setting in the Location name column.

  6. Determine the clock-in/clock-out of the attendance location in the GPS setting section.

  7. If you choose Flexible, employees can check in and check out anywhere.

  8. If you select Set Location, employees can check in and check out based on locations whose distances can be freely set by the company via the tab.

    If you select Set Location, you are asked to specify the location with the following steps:
    a. Click "Add Location". Here, you can add more than 1 location.

    b. Enter the name of the location to perform attendance in Name.

    c. Then, you can activate one or both of the following location validation setting options.

    1. Attendance validation by GPS location: You can select this option to apply settings so that the system validates the employee's live attendance location based on GPS location. If you select this location validation type, then you can follow these steps:
    - Enter the maximum radius, where employees can only perform attendance within the radius you specify, with a minimum distance of 50m and a maximum of 1000m.

    - Then, enter the attendance location in Search Location.

    - Click "Save" to save.

    2. Attendance location by IP Address: You can select this option to apply settings so that the system validates the employee's live attendance location based on the Internet Protocol (IP) address obtained from your company's network or wifi. If you select this location validation type, then you can follow these steps:
    - You will get the IP address in the Your current publish IP address section. Then, you can copy it into the IP address range column, along with the estimated range as in the example below. If there is more than 1 (one) IP address, you can add it by clicking"Add IP address".

    - Click "Save" to save.

  9. Your location will then appear in the Locations list. You can perform actions by clicking"Actions", such as Edit location and Delete

  10. Slide the toggle Enable break feature if you want employees to get break time during their shift schedule.

    Then, 2 options appear that you can choose if you enforce break absences (Enable break feature) with location tracking, namely:

    • Apply for start break: Enables location validation only when starting a break.

    • Apply for end break: Enables location validation only when ending a break.
      Or, check both to enable location validation when starting and ending a break.

  11. Click "Add & edit employee" to select a list of employees who can use the setting location.

    If you select all employee names, the setting will only apply to existing employees. You need to reassign the setting location for new employees.

  12. Click the name of the employee you want to add to the location settings.

  13. Then click “Submit”.

  14. The employee will be listed in the Assigned Employee List. If there is a discrepancy, you can change the list by clicking “Add & edit employee” again.

  15. Furthermore, to make it easier to assign employees to specific locations that you are setting, you can utilize and activate Enable auto assignment rules.

    - Add employee: Click to apply auto assignment rules when there is an action Add employee.
    - Edit employee: Click to apply auto assignment rules when there is an Edit employee action.
    - Employee transfer: Click to apply auto assignment rules when there is an Employee transfer action.
    - Add rules (Required): Click to apply auto assignment rules to certain employee categories, such as Branch, Organization, Job position, etc.

    After that, you can select the details of the category you choose. For example, Branch; then the company branches will appear as follows. You can check any option you want to choose.

    In addition, you can delete additional rules that you have created by clicking “-”.

     

  16. Then, the location settings will be saved in the table on the Location set up - Location tab as follows. You can edit the location settings that have been created or delete them by clicking “Actions” then Edit or Delete.

  17. Next, you can pull the location settings data by opening the Employee tab and then clicking the “export location settings” icon.

     

    Filter the data you want to pull by utilizing the Filter feature. You can filter the data by Branch, Employment status, Organization, Job position, and/or Job level.

    You can check the funds, open your Talenta Inbox with the title Location Setting Assignment Export to download the location settings data.

  18. Then, click “here”.

  19. Then, the file is automatically downloaded. Here is an example of the display of the data pull results or Export Location Setting.
