Mekari Talenta Launchpad - Modular Solutions offers flexibility for companies to operate Talenta Recruitment and Performance & Talent Management separately, without needing to commit to the full Talenta HRIS package.

With this feature, the Super Admin has full self-serve authority to manage the organizational structure and related employee data, including employee positions. This guide article will focus on creating and managing employee job positions within the company through the Talenta Launchpad platform.

1. Go to https://launchpad.talenta.co.

2. Go to the “Company” menu, then select Job positions.
   

A. Add Job Position

This section explains the steps to add individual employee job positions in Mekari Talenta Launchpad. Here is the explanation.

1. On the Job levels page, click “New job position”, then select Add job position.
   

2. You can then fill out the New job position form. Here is the explanation.
   

3. Once the form is completely filled out, click “Save”.
   

   You can check “Add another” if you want to create another job position after saving this one.

4. The new job position will be successfully added to the Mekari Talenta database and you will be redirected back to the Job positions page. You can click the “down arrow” icon to open the child job position.
   

5. In this list, you can see the status of the organization in the Status column. Additionally, you can use the “Show inactive organization” feature to display only inactive organizations.
   

B. Import Job Position

This section explains the steps to add employee job positions in bulk using the Excel file import feature. Here is the explanation.

1. On the Job positions page, click “New job positions”, then select Import job position.
   

2. You will be directed to the Import job positions page. Click “Download template” to download the Excel job position template.
   

3. In the downloaded file, you can complete the columns Job position name (required), Parent job position ID, Job position code, and Description following the format in the example below. Make sure to save the file before proceeding to the next step.
   

4. Return to the Import job position page in Talenta Launchpad. Upload the file by clicking “Browse” or drag and drop the file into this Drop your file(s) box.
   

   Important
   The uploaded file must be in XLSX format with a maximum size of 5 MB.

5. After the file has finished uploading, click “Import”.
   

   You can delete the file that has been uploaded by clicking the “x” icon.

6. You will then be redirected back to the Job positions page where you can see the list of job positions that have been successfully imported.
   

C. Edit, Deactivate/Activate, and Delete Job Position

In the Job position list, you can manage existing job positions, such as editing, deactivating/reactivating, and deleting them. Here is the explanation.

1. To edit information for a job position in the list, click “Actions” then select Edit.
   

2. To deactivate a job position from the list, click “Actions” then select Deactivate. If you want to reactivate it, click “Actions” then select Activate.
   
    

   You cannot deactivate a job position that has already been assigned to an active employee.

3. If you need to delete a job position when it is no longer in use, click “Actions” then select Delete.
   

   You cannot delete a job position that has already been assigned to an active employee.

4. When deleting a job position, a confirmation pop-up will appear as follows. You can click “Delete” to confirm the deletion action.
