How to Integrate Talenta with Fingerspot

Mekari Talenta can be integrated with the Fingerspot application to simplify employee attendance management. This integration allows Fingerspot's attendance data, which uses biometric technologies such as fingerprint and facial recognition, to be directly integrated with Mekari Talenta.

Important
Please ensure you have done the following before integrating:
- Purchase and install the device completely through an authorized Fingerspot partner from Mekari Talenta. For more information, contact support-hr@mekari.com.
- Before integrating, ensure your Fingerspot device has been registered here.
- Only use Fingerspot devices registered here.

Follow these steps to integrate Talenta with Fingerspot.

  1. On the Dashboard menu, click the Integrations menu.

  2. Once Fingerspot integration is enabled, you can click “Settings” in the Touchless Portal - Fingerspot box to make settings.

  3. Click “Add device”.

  4. To start the connection, complete the information form about your Fingerspot account.

3 Eligible attendance method

You are required to choose one or all of the attendance methods for the device, namely Face recognition , Fingerprint or Card.

  1. If it is complete, click “Connect account”.

  2. Then, your Fingerspot account is successfully connected, and you can see detailed information such as Device name and Cloud ID.

1 Masking device name You can provide a masking name (alias) for the device.
2 Location setting The address obtained from the connected Fingerspot device. Alternatively, you can also specify the attendance location address here.
3 Device criteria setup You can optionally set up employees with specific criteria whose data is retrieved from this device.
- All employees: All employee data from Fingerspot is retrieved and integrated into Talenta.
- Selected employees: Select this option if you want to customize the employee data integration criteria into Talenta. Selecting this option allows you to specify specific criteria (Branch, Organization, Job level, etc.) in the provided fields. You can add more criteria by clicking "Add criteria" or reduce them by clicking "-".
4 Cancel/Disconnect account/Save
  • Click Cancel to cancel the integration changes. 
  • Click “Disconnect account” to disconnect the integration.
  • Click “Save” to save the changes.
  1. The connection you've configured will then be listed on the Fingerspot integration list page. Within the created integration, you can view the name, cloud ID number, total employees (clickable for details), criteria (clickable for details), device status, and the last time the data was synced. Click "Action" to create a specific action option.

    You can see how much device quota has been used in the Device quota section. For example, Device quota: 2/10 means you've used two of the 10 devices provided. 

  2. The actions you can take are as follows.

    Setup: Click to make changes to the integration rules, which are divided into 4 sections, namely Device details, Setup, Device location, and Device log. Click “Save” when you have finished editing the integration rules.

    - Enable device: Click the toggle button to enable or disable data synchronization.
    - Include attendance shift: Click the toggle button to enable or disable shift synchronization.
    - Include time break: Click the toggle button to enable or disable break synchronization.
    Sync: Click to synchronize the updated data.
    Delete: Click to delete the connection.

  1. Every employee's clock-in and clock-out data using Fingerspot is recorded in the Talenta attendance system. The following is an employee attendance history log page integrated with the integration settings in this example guide.
