How to Issue Withholding Tax Slip (e-Bupot)

Now, you can issue Withholding Tax Slips or e-Bupot directly through Mekari Talenta. According to government regulations, payroll is subject to income tax (PPh 21/26). Mekari Talenta, which is now directly integrated with the DJP system through Mekari Klikpajak, makes the PPh 21 reporting process easier because you can now issue and send Coretax directly.

You can activate this integration by upgrading your Talenta package with the eBupot issuance feature. For further consultation on your needs, please contact your Account Manager or see the related PIC on the https://launchpad.mekari.com/support-center/ page.

Here are the steps to create and issue withholding tax slips directly from Mekari Talenta.

  1. Go to the “Payroll” menu, then click Payroll processing.

  2. Next, go to the Payroll history page, where you will see the Payroll list page as follows. Click on one of the “Proceed payslip” for one of the payroll months for which you want to issue the e-Bupot.

    You can use the Filter to display data for the year period you want.

  3. Next, select one payslip of an employee that has been locked to issue the e-Bupot by clicking the “Three dots” icon, then click “Publish e-Bupot”.

    You can also perform bulk Publish e-Bupot by checking the names of employees in the Checkbox, then click “Actions” and select Publish e-Bupot.

  4. In the pop-up that appears, you can click “Publish”.

    Important
    - The system will take some time to issue the e-Bupot.
    - You can choose to process the issuance using disbursement and payment of PPh 21.
    - You can reload the Payroll History page to see the latest issuance status in the e-Bupot status column. When the e-Bupot status changes to Published, you can access the withholding tax slip issued by DJP through Talenta’s withholding tax slip, but to manage and report the issued withholding tax slips, you can do so on the Coretax site from DJP.
