How to Integrate Talenta with ZKTeco

The integration between Mekari Talenta and ZKTeco, a device for taking attendance, simplifies the employee attendance mechanism on Talenta.

Important
To find out the usage, payment, and activation scheme for Talenta integration with ZKTeco, contact support-hr@mekari.com.

Follow these steps to integrate Talenta with ZKTeco.

  1. Select the Integrations menu.
  2. Once ZKTeco integration is enabled, you can click “Setting” in the ZKTeco integration box to make settings.
  3. Click “Add device”.
  4. Complete the information form about your ZKTeco device account.

1 Access token Fill in the access token obtained on your CVSecurity platform. Read the details here.
2 Serial number Fill in the serial number of your ZKTeco device.
3 Device access

Select Domain to enter a URL or select IP address to enter the IP address of your ZKTeco device account.

Important
Make sure the IP connected to your ZKTeco device is a static public IP.

  1. If complete, click “Connect account”.
  2. Therefore, your ZKTeco account is successfully connected and you can see the detailed information such as Device username and IP address/domain.

2 Masking device name You can customize the name of this device as you like.
3 Device criteria setup

You can optionally set employees with certain criteria whose data is pulled from this device.

- All employees: All employee data from ZKTeco is captured and integrated into Talenta.

- Selected employee: Select this if you want to customize employee data with any criteria integrated into Talenta. If you select this, you can specify certain criteria (Branch, Organization, Job level, etc.) in the available columns. You can add criteria layers by clicking “Add criteria” or reduce them by clicking “-”.

4 Cancel/Disconnect account/Save
  • Click Cancel to cancel the integration changes.
  • Click “Disconnect account” to disconnect the integration.
  • Click “Save” to save changes.
  1. Then, the integration you have set will be listed on the ZKTeco integration list page. In the integration that has been created, you can see the information of name, serial number, total employees (clickable to see details), criteria (clickable to see details), device status, and the last time the data was synchronized. Click “Action” to make a specific action option appear.

    You can see how much device quota has been used in the Device quota section. For example, Device quota: 1/10, means you have used 1 device out of the 10 device quotas provided.

  2. The actions you can take are as follows.

    - Setup: Click to edit integration rules.
    - Sync: Click to synchronize updated data.
    - Delete: Click to delete the connection.

  3. Every employee's clock-in and clock-out data with ZKTeco is recorded in the Talenta attendance system. The following is the employee Attendance log history page that has been integrated with the integration settings in this guide example.
