With the Live Attendance feature on Talenta Mobile, you can Clock In and Clock Out via your smartphone without the need for approval. Live Attendance applies not only to daily work systems but also to shifts. In the shift system, this feature makes it easier for employees to understand when to clock in and out when shift schedules overlap between today and the next or previous day.
Below is a guide and explanation on how to use Live Attendance (Clock In and Clock Out) for Shifts on Talenta Mobile.
A. Example Case 1: Early Clock In Before Today's Date (Yesterday)
In this guide, we will use the following example case:
- Overnight reset time: 8 hours
- Now: 16:50 - November 21, 2022
- Today's shift: 11:00 - 17:00
- Tomorrow's shift: 00:00 - 06:00
With the scenario above, employees can perform an early Clock In for the November 22 shift starting from November 21 at 16:00 (00:00 - 8 hours). With this feature, users can select the shift before submitting attendance data, and the data will be directly entered into the selected shift.
Open your Talenta Mobile and go to the “Live Attendance” menu.

Employees can Clock In for today (November 21, 2022) and tomorrow (November 22, 2022) at the same time today as shown in the following Attendance Log.
You can swipe the Attendance tab to the right and left to view 2 shifts and perform Clock In and Clock Out on these overlapping Shifts.

Then, employees can Clock Out at the same time as shown below.
Today's shift (November 21, 2022) will disappear after November 22 at 01:00 (17:00 + 8 hours).
B. Example Case 2: Late Clock Out After Today's Date (Next Day)
In this guide, we will use the following example case:
- Overnight reset time: 8 hours
- Now: 16:53 - November 21, 2022
- Today's shift: 11:00 - 17:00
- Yesterday's shift: 23:00 - 10:00
With the scenario above, users can perform a late Clock Out for the November 20 shift until November 21 at 17:00 (10:00 + 8 hours). With this feature, employees can select the shift before submitting attendance data, and the data will be directly entered into the selected shift.
Open your Talenta Mobile and go to the “Live Attendance” menu.

Employees can Clock In for today (November 21, 2022) and yesterday (November 22, 2022) at the same time today as shown in the following Attendance Log.

Then, in overlapping shifts as in this example case, employees can perform only one Clock Out as shown below.
