How to Simulate Leave Calculation

Time Off (Leave) is a sub-menu that is used to manage all applicable leave policies within the company. Through this sub-menu, you can simulate the calculation of employee leave/permit balances by using the Time off Simulation feature. In this section, you will learn how to do a Time off Simulation.

Here are the steps.

  1. Enter the Time menu, then select Time Off.

  2. Then, click "Setting".

  3. Click the “Time Off Simulation” Button.

  4. Then, the following sidebar appears.

    No. Column/Button Name Description
    1 Time off policy Select the leave policy you want to simulate in   Policy. After you select it,  the Policy information column displays the details of the  Policy.
    2 Simulating time off balance by Select whether you want the simulation to be run based on a specific employee name (Employee) or join date   (Join date).
    3 Employee/Join date If you choose based on Employee, then select the employee you want to simulate. If you choose based on Join date, then select the join date you want to simulate.
    4 As of date Select the simulation end date here.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar, then the Time off simulation results are displayed as follows.

    The simulation above is read as an effective simulation dated April 1, 2025 (Date), for the allocation of leave balance for the period April 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 (Action) there is an additional amount of leave of 3 days (Days), so that the final balance of leave is 3 days (Balance).
    Then, dated May 1, 2025 (Date), for the allocation of leave balance for the period May 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 (Action) there is an additional amount of leave of 1 day (Days); therefore, the final balance of leave is 4 days (Balance).
