Through the ESS Settings menu in Mekari Talenta, you as a Super Admin or Admin can set up delegation of authority (delegation) for various approval processes (approval), such as submitting Overtime request, Attendance request, Live attendance request, and other submission forms.

Important
Before learning how to create delegation settings, you can first learn how to set up approval layers here.

This delegation feature functions as a parallel layer approval, where each submission will be forwarded simultaneously to two parties, namely the main approver and the delegate recipient. Actions on the submission can only be performed once by the user who responds first, either by approving (approve) or rejecting (reject). In addition, you can set restrictions and determine the duration of the delegation of authority.

To start setting this policy, follow the steps below.

  1. Go to the “Settings” menu.
  2. Click "Delegation” under the ESS section.
  3. Click “Add delegation”.
  4. Select the delegator in the From employee column and the delegate recipient in the To employee column.
  5. Select the delegation policy period in the Delegation date column by clicking the start and end dates of the delegation.
  6. Select the type of module or authority to be delegated during the specified period. You can click each one individually or “Select all” to check all modules.

    Important
You can set delegation restrictions so that employees can only see the Delegate to list based on categories such as Branch, Organization, and others. Learn the guide here.

  7. Click “Save”.

After the delegation is created, you can also set up notification reminders. This feature allows you to receive notifications about requests that need approval in the Need My Approval menu.
