Currently, there are changes to the Home display on Talenta. For more details, here is an explanation of the differences in the Home display on Talenta Mobile.
| No | Menu | Old Display | New Display |
| 1. | Talenta Mobile Shortcut |
Below is the old display of the shortcut column for performing Live attendance, such as “Clock-in”, “Clock-out”, or “Break”. |
With more complete information and different icons for “Clock-in” and “Clock-out”, the new shortcut Live attendance display makes it easier to manage employee attendance through self-service. |
| 2. | Request |
To make an attendance request, and so on, you can click the Request menu at the bottom of the page. Then select the type of request you want to submit. |
In the new display, the menu icons are more minimalistic. Now, when making a “Request”, you can choose from the following options. In addition, the “x” button has moved to the right side, making user navigation easier. |
| 3. | Live Attendance |
To perform Live Attendance, you can simply click “Clock In” or “Clock Out” on the Live Attendance shortcut at the top of the page.
|
With the convenience of attendance via the shortcut “Clock-in” and “Clock-out”, the information provided in this column is now more complete. In addition, the color display is now more eye-friendly. Then, you can record attendance by checking one of the shifts. |
To record attendance in real-time, there are 4 ways to perform Live Attendance.
A. Method 1 (selfie optional & location flexible)
In the first method, the company setting does not require a selfie and the location is flexible, so employees can immediately record attendance without having to take any other actions, such as taking a selfie or being at a specific location. Click “Submit” to complete the attendance process.
B. Method 2 (selfie mandatory & location flexible)
In the second method, a selfie is required but the location is flexible. After the user selects Clock In or Clock Out, the system will open the camera page and display options to enter notes & view the location as the next step. Then click “Submit” to complete the attendance process.
C. Method 3 (selfie optional & location strict)
In the third method, a selfie is not required, but employees must record attendance at certain predetermined locations. So, when employees perform Live Attendance, they will be directed to the map page only. Then click “Submit” to complete the attendance process.
D. Method 4 (selfie mandatory & location strict)
In the fourth method, a selfie is required and employees must record attendance at certain predetermined locations. The location is already set in the attendance settings, so the system will immediately validate the location on the map page and then proceed to the second page, which is the camera page to take a selfie. Then click “Submit” to complete the attendance process.
The same applies to break attendance (Start break/End break). Employees are required to take a selfie and record attendance at certain predetermined locations. If the attendance location does not match the location settings, the employee's attendance will have a Pending status. The Pending status indicates that the attendance is in the process of being requested for approval or rejection by the Manager.
E. Method 5 (selfie mandatory, location mandatory & notes mandatory)
In the fifth method, employees who want to Clock-in or Clock-out must take a selfie at certain predetermined locations and provide a reason if they are outside the location. If the attendance location does not match the location settings, you must provide a reason, which you can enter in the Notes column. Next, you can click “Continue clock-in” where you must include a selfie photo and “Submit”. The attendance will have a Pending status. The Pending status indicates that the attendance and your reason for being outside the location are in the process of being requested for approval or rejection by the Manager.
F. Method 6 (selfie optional, location mandatory & notes mandatory)
In the sixth method, employees who Clock-in or Clock-out must be at certain predetermined locations and provide a reason if they are outside the location. However, employees are not required to take a selfie. If the attendance location does not match the location settings, you must provide a reason, which you can enter in the Notes column. Next, you can click “Continue clock-in” and the attendance will have a Pending status. The Pending status indicates that the attendance and your reason for being outside the location are in the process of being requested for approval or rejection by the Manager.
