The task in the Company is a menu that can be used to manage tasks created between employees. Currently, Task in Talenta is equipped with the Projects feature. You can manage several tasks at once in Projects.

To create a new task in Talenta, you can access it via the Task menu, where you can also categorize the task into projects directly. Here are the steps:
A. Create a Single Task

Enter the Company Menu, then click "Tasks".
- In the new display, go to the Productivity menu then click Projects & tasks
- Or select the Tasks tab here. -
Select the All Task tab.

Click “Create New Task” to create a new task.

You can create tasks in bulk by importing files in sheet format on the Project details page. Learn the guide here. -
Hence, the following pop-up appears.
No. Column/Button Name Description 1 Task name Enter a name for the task. 2 Project Select the project for the Task. Select a new project if you want to create a new project or No Project if the task is not included in any project. 3 Assignee Next, select which employee will be given the task.
The list of employees that appear are only those who have joined the selected project. If you want to add other employees, you can add members first to the project.
4 Send task to assignee email You can provide email notification to the employee concerned by checking this option. 5 Apply for payroll calculation Check this if you want the system to automatically calculate wages for each task completed by the employee. Learn the task feature guide for payroll groups here.
Only Admin and Super Admin roles can create task and payroll integrations, which can currently only be done via desktop and not via bulk import tasks.
6 Apply for task completion Click to require approval when this task is complete. - If you activate this feature, there are 4 task statuses (To do, In progress, In review, and Done).
- This feature is automatically checked if you activate Apply for payroll calculation. You will be asked to fill in the Task completion fee (wages when the task is completed).
7 Apply for time tracking Check to add approval to each task with time tracking. With this setting, each task with time tracking will need approval from the previously determined approval line. Furthermore, the status of the task with time tracking will be Pending until the approval line receives the request. 8 Due date Enter a date and time for the task to be completed.
Check the “No Due Date” information if there is no time limit for the task.
9 Description You can provide detailed information about the task in this column. 10 Attachments You can attach supporting files (docx, jpg, png, xlsx, jpeg, ppt, txt, etc.) here with a maximum size of 10 MB. -
Check Allow assignee to update the progress of the task if you want to allow employees to update the progress of this task, for example in a manufacturing company to monitor the number of goods produced. Then, you can enter the Progress output name in the column provided.

Check Apply for payroll calculation if you want the system to calculate wages for each task completed by an employee automatically. If you check this, you will be asked to fill in the Task completion fee. To learn the task feature guide for payroll groups, click here.

Once everything is filled in completely, click "Save" to save the task.
B. All Tasks List Page

Therefore, the task you just created will appear on the All tasks page. The following is an explanation of the page.
No. Column/Button Name Description 1 Filter Include a category filter or due date (deadline for completing the task) if necessary. 2 Downloads Download the task list in XLS format here. 3 Search bar Search for specific task data by typing it here. 4 Date Today's date. 5 Task status Task work process statuses and amounts. - To do: Tasks that have not been done.
- In progress: Tasks that are in progress.
- In review: The task is being reviewed by the approval line.
- Done: Tasks that have been completed.
6 Action Click on the task statuses button to display the following options.
- View details: Click to view the page containing the task details.
- Edit: Click to change the task details.
- Move to To do: Click to change the status to To Do.

Move to In progress: Click to change the status to In progress.
- Move to In review: Click to change the status to In review.
- Move to Done: Click to change the status to Done.

Click to change the task status. 2 Notify me icon Click to enable the notification feature for this task, therefore you will receive notifications about the progress of this task. 3 Actions icon Click to change or delete tasks. 4 Go to time tracker Click to go to the time tracker page. 5 Download attachments Click to download the attachments included in this assignment. 6 Activity Filters Filter the timeline of activities related to task work according to the type of activity. 7 Post an activity Upload attachments or write down activities related to completing assignments. 8 Download attachments Click to download the attachment on the timeline. - If you enable Apply for payroll calculation (connect to payroll) when creating a task, there will be additional information, such as Approval status and Fee in the Task detail.
- If you check Allow assignee to update the progress of the task, there is additional information about the amount of Progress that you can edit by clicking the “pencil” icon.
