How to Delete and Edit Employee Attendance Data per Employee

On Talenta, you can take actions in the form of deleting and changing attendance data per employee or in bulk, which you can do on the Attendance menu. Follow these steps to delete and change employee attendance data per employee:

1. Deleting the Attendance Data

  1. Go to the Time Management menu, and select Attendance.
  2. Select the employee whose attendance you want to delete, then click the “trash can” icon to delete attendance.

  3. Or you can also select several employees by ticking the check boxes next to the employee's name.

  4. Then click "Delete attendance" to delete.

  5. Thus, employee attendance data such as leave, overtime, and breaks will be deleted. Then the shift will reset according to the assigned schedule.

2. Editing the Employee Attendance Data

A. Weekday/Working Day Attendance Data

  1. Go to the Time Management menu, and select Attendance.
  2. Select the employee whose data you want to change and click the “pencil” icon.

  3. Then a pop-up will appear on the right. Click “Shift” to change employee shifts.

  4. Change the clock-in and clock-out times in the available fields.

  5. Change the start and end time of the break in the break start and end fields.

  6. Check "Time off" to add leave and click "Select time off" to select the type of leave and specify the time off in the next column..

  7. If an employee works half a day, then you can select the Time Off type and select Half day before break or Half day after break. Then determine the time schedule in and out of employees.

  8. Check "Overtime" if you want to change the employee's overtime time both on weekdays and holidays.

  9. If the changes to the attendance data have been made, then click "Save" to save.

B. Weekend/Holiday Attendance Data

  1. Go to the Time Management menu, and select Attendance.
  2. Select the employee whose data you want to change and click the “pencil” icon.

  3. Hence, a pop-up will appear on the right.
  4. If you want to change attendance data on holidays, select Day off in the Shift section.

  5. Next, fill in or change the Schedule in, Schedule Out, Clock in, Clock out, Break start, and Break end sections.

  6. You can also check the Overtime section, to change the Total duration and Total break duration.

  7. If the changes to the attendance data have been made, then click "Save" to save.
