Through Mekari Talenta Recruitment, besides the MBTI personality test, you can now create and manage other candidate assessment tests yourself. These tests can be made with multiple choice answers, long text answers, or numeric answers. With this feature, recruiters can more easily send tests and monitor the results through a single platform, namely Mekari Talenta Recruitment.
Follow the steps below to create and manage assessment tests provided on the Assessments page.
A. Creating Assessment Tests for Candidates
Go to the Assessments menu.
Click “Create assessment” to create a new assessment test.
You will be directed to the Create Assessment page. In the first step, you are asked to complete the Assessment informations which are information for candidates about this test. Here is the explanation.

Once complete, click “Continue”.

Next, in the second step, Add question, you can add questions by clicking “Create Question”. Several question type options will appear for you to choose from.
No. Button/Column Name Description 1. Multiple choice Choose this question type to create multiple choice questions. If you select this option, a sidebar will appear that you can fill out with examples and explanations as follows.
1. Question name: Enter the question for this item.2. Answer type: Choose one answer type based on the number of correct answers. Single correct answer means only one answer is correct, while Multiple correct answer means more than one correct answer.
3. Options: Fill in the multiple choice answer options then click the “circle” icon to select the correct answer.
4. Delete: Click this icon to delete an answer option.
5. Add option: Click to add an answer option.
6. Create another question: Check this to immediately create another multiple choice question after saving this question.
7. Save: Click to save the question.
2. Essay Choose this question type to create long answer questions. If you select this option, a sidebar will appear that you can fill out with examples and explanations as follows.

3. Number Choose this question type to create questions that can only be answered with numbers. If you select this option, a sidebar will appear that you can fill out with examples and explanations as follows.
1. Question name: Enter the question for this item.
2. Right answer: Enter the correct answer (numbers only).3. Create another question: Check this to immediately create another long answer question after saving this question.
4. Save: Click to save the question.
Below is an example of the appearance of a completed question. You can see the question along with its type in each question table. In the table, you can reorder the sequence of questions by dragging and dropping the columns (drag and drop). Click the “pencil” icon to edit the question and its answers. To delete, click “-”. Additionally, you can click “Shuffle question” to randomize the questions for each candidate sent.
Important
As in the example above, one assessment test can contain various types of questions. You can also create an assessment test with only one type of question.
If the questions are arranged properly, click “Publish” to save the questions ready to be given to candidates immediately. Or, if you still want to modify the questions and do not want to publish yet, click “Save as draft” to finish it later.
Then, the assessment test is successfully created and saved in the Assessments list.
B. Managing Assessment Tests for Candidates that Have Been Created
On the Assessments page, you can filter the list of assessment tests based on their status by clicking “All status”. Additionally, there is a filter for the last date the questions were modified under “Select date”. Then, to make it easier for you to find questions, you can also type the name in the “Select assessment name” or commonly called the Search bar.

To change details or modify a specific question, click “Actions” then Edit.
You will be directed to the Assessment informations and Add questions steps where you can modify the questions and republish them. This step follows the workflow from creating assessment tests which you can read in section A.
To unpublish a test, click “Actions” then Unpublish. This action will make the assessment test unavailable to be sent to candidates.
In the pop-up that appears, confirm your action by clicking “Unpublished”.
Another action on the Assessments page is deleting an assessment test from the list. You can do this by clicking “Actions” then Delete.
In the pop-up that appears, confirm your action by clicking “Delete assessment”.
