How to Submit a Headcount Request as an Employee

In certain cases, employees with the access role Employee may be assigned to manage workforce planning. If you are responsible for this, you can access the Manpower Planning page through Mekari Talenta. On this page, you can submit a request for Headcount for workforce needs, whether for vacant positions or those requiring additional staff. This way, the process of submitting workforce requirements can be done easily and monitored.

  1. Go to the “Employees” menu, then select Manpower Planning.

  2. On the Requisition tab, click the “Request” button at the top right of the page, then select New headcount.

  3. Next, a sidebar will appear as follows.

No. Column Name Description
1 Select period

Determine the period for the headcount addition. 
 

You can also check Period with range if the headcount requirement has a time limit. If not checked, the headcount requirement will not have a time limit.

2 Job position Select the job position that requires a headcount.
3 Employment status Select one employment status for the headcount.
4 Branch Select one branch that requires a headcount.
5 Description Describe the criteria for the headcount needed in the selected job position.
6 Attachment Select any attachments you wish to include in the request (optional).
7 Requested Enter the total headcount request you need. 
Important
- Please note that the Current Headcount will continuously change due to employee additions (add employee), resign employee, rehire employee, and employee transfer job position & employment status.
- Make sure the total request does not exceed the total planned account that has been set.
  1. Click “Save & add new” to save and create a new replacement or click “Save” to save only.

  2. The Headcount you submitted will appear like this. You can click “View detail” to see the request you submitted in more detail.

    Your submission must go through approval first.

  3. Then, the headcount will appear as follows.

    - The headcount process can be carried out after the request has been approved by all approval lines.
    - You can monitor the approval process in the Log history highlighted on the detail page above.
    - You can inquire about the approval decision from the employee's name listed in the Log history Need approval by [approver's name] by including the Request I,D which you can “copy”.
    - If you need to cancel the request, click “Cancel request”.
