In Talenta, after enabling employee live tracking, you can set the threshold for unusual activities performed by employees based on locations recorded in the system. Here are the steps.
Go to the Settings menu.
Then select Live attendance under the Time submenu.
Next, click the Unusual activity rule tab.
-
This section contains three unusual activities: Device inactive, Unverified visit, and GPS disabled.
- GPS disabled: Employee turns off GPS.
- Device inactive: Employee turns off the device.
- Unverified visit: Employee visits an unverified location. To modify these, click the “Actions” button then select Edit.
-
You can change the threshold for these activities (Unusual activity interval threshold) in the hours and mins fields. Unusual activity is recorded if the user meets the criteria and the threshold is exceeded. After making changes, click “Save changes”.
For example, if the threshold is set to 5 minutes, then a user/employee who does not activate their device for 5 minutes will trigger an unusual activity.
You can also deactivate unusual activities by clicking “Actions” then selecting Set inactive.
-
Additionally, you can bulk deactivate certain activities by checking the checkbox, then clicking “Set inactive”.
If you set them to inactive, Live Tracking will not record the “Unverified visit” or “Device Inactive” activities at all.
A confirmation pop-up will appear; click “Set inactive”.
The activity status will be set to inactive. You can view this by filtering by status by clicking the “All status” column, then selecting Inactive.
That concludes the explanation on how to set unusual activities in Talenta. Next, learn how to view live tracking here.
