The ESS Approval Settings feature now has an additional feature, Acknowledgment. This feature helps with the approval process, where certain employees (e.g., HR, Finance, Compliance) need to be notified of approval but are not part of the approval chain. Furthermore, this feature can help all relevant parties receive updates on the approval process.
In this guide, you can learn how to set who gets information through notifications and also what approval process is carried out.
On the main Talenta page, go to the Settings menu and click ESS.
To set up approval, click New Approval Beta.
Select the Acknowledgment tab, then click “Add acknowledgment”.
Then, a sidebar will appear which you can complete as follows.

| 1 | Recipient | Select the name of the recipient of the acknowledgment notification. |

Select based on the criteria on which approval process to run. The example in the image above shows that the Recipient will receive notification of the approval process from the Bandung branch only.

| 4 | Select policy |
Select which approval process needs to be informed to the selected Recipient. The example in the image above shows that the Recipient will receive notification of the Attendance request and Change shift request approvalprocess from the Bandung branch only. |
| 5 | Add policy | Add another approval process if needed by clicking this button. |
| 6 | Cancel | Click to cancel this setting. |
| 7 | Save and add other | Click to save these settings and create more rules. |
| 8 | Save | Click to save these settings and return to the Acknowledgment list page. |
Once saved, the settings will be listed on the Acknowledgment tab page.

You can perform several actions on the settings you've created. Click "Actions" then "Edit" to change the information in the setting. Alternatively, click "Actions" then "Delete" to remove the setting.
- When you perform Actions - Edit, you can save your changes by clicking “Save changes”.
- When you perform Actions - Delete, a pop-up confirmation appears that the deleted settings cannot be restored. Click “Delete” to permanently delete the settings. The following is an example of the notification display that the Recipient receives from the web and mobile app.
