How to Set Payroll Rules in the Settings Menu

Through the Settings menu, you can set the Payroll Rule feature. As a Super Admin with access to Payroll, you can use this feature to enforce payroll rules. The settings create criteria based on the structure. Then, when there is a trigger for employee mutation (employee transfer), the system will automatically map the payroll components, overtime, and payment schedules.

Important
Payroll Rule Settings affect Add new employees and Employee transfers where when related to certain criteria will be updated or adjusted based on the criteria.

Here are the steps to set payroll rules in the settings menu.

  1. On the main page, click "Settings".
  2. Select Payroll, then select Payroll rule.
  3. You can create a new Payroll rule by clicking “Create rule”.
  4. Then, you will be redirected to the Create rule page to create a new setting. Complete the Rule name and Description (optional) form.
  5. Then, in the Criteria section, you can fill in employee criteria, such as Branch, Organization, and Job position in the columns provided.
  6. In the Payroll information section, you can complete the following 2 sections.

    1 Payroll components Include payroll components in each type:
    - Allowance:  Select at least 1 (one) payroll component Allowance.
    - Deduction:  Select at least 1 (one) payroll component Deduction.
    - Benefit:  Select at least 1 (one) payroll component Benefit.
    2 Overtime You can add data if needed here.
  7. If it is correct, then select “Save” to save.

    You can click “Save & create other” to save and create another Payroll rule. Or, select “Cancel” to cancel the Payroll rule creation action.

  8. Then, a pop-up appears to confirm your action. Click “Save” to save.
  9. Hence, the Payroll rule is successfully saved and registered in the Payroll rule table. Click “View details” to view or edit the details of the saved rule.
  10. Therefore, the Rule details sidebar appears as follows. You can check the saved rules. If there is information that is not appropriate, you can click "Edit" to change it.

    - Click "Delete"  to delete the payroll rule.
    - Click  "Duplicate"  to duplicate this payroll rule.
