How to Manage Project Management

You can manage a project through the Web and Mobile versions of Mekari Talenta. Project management at Talenta can consist of various tasks. You can set these tasks and projects to be correlated or uncorrelated and can be created by all roles (Super Admin, Admin, and Employee) in Talenta. On each project, you can arrange the members in such a way.

The following is a guide on how to manage Mekari Talenta project management.

A. How to Create a New Project

In the Talenta Task Menu, you can create a New Project. Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the Company menu then click "Task".

    Or select the Task tab here.

  2. Select the Project tab.

  3. Click "Create Project" .

  4. You can enter the project name in the Name column.

  5. Select Color, to give a color label to the project, then click "Save" .

  6. Then the Project will be formed as shown in the image below.

    The employee who created the project will automatically become the admin of the project.

  7. Click the "Pencil" icon if you want to change the project name and label color on the project.

  8. You can see the project status as shown in the image below which consists of tasks that have previously been created for the project, click here to learn how to create tasks.

    The complete bar is based on the number of tasks entered in the Done progress.

  9. Click the Project Name to see details of the tasks in that project.

No. Column Explanation
1. Members You can see the total number of members and project admins. You can see the total number of members and project admins.
2. Total time tracked

You can see the total hours for how long the project has been going on.

Important 
Tasks and time trackers can be correlated or uncorrelated. If correlated, this only applies to the tasks assigned to the employee on that project or task. You can include a time tracker for the tasks you will carry out. Read the guide, here.

3. Progress Bar You can see the progress of tasks in the project.
4. Tasks All tasks in the project can be seen on the tasks tab.
5. Members You can see a list of project admins and members who are members of a project.
6. All assignees You can filter the task list based on the employee's name.
7. Search tasks by name You can search for tasks by typing keywords.
8. To do Contains tasks whose status is to do.
9. In progress Contains tasks whose status is in progress.
10. Done Contains tasks whose status is done.
  1. Click the "Three Dots"  icon to make changes or archive the project.

  2. Click the “Delete”  icon to delete the project.
  3. You can see all archived projects on the Archive tab.

  4. If you want to reactivate the project status that has been archived, click the Arrow icon.

  5. Then the project will return to the Active tab.

B. How to Manage Certain Projects

In the Task Menu, you, as the giver and recipient of the task, can update the progress of the task. Here are the steps:

  1. Go to the Company menu then click "Task".

  2. On the All Tasks tab, you will see the tasks you have on the To Do tab like this.

  3. Click on the task you want to update.

    If the assignment has passed the due date, the date will turn red like this. mceclip14.png

  4. You can provide comments and file attachments in the "Write your comment here" column.

  5. Then your comment activity will look like this.

  6. You can change the task status on the “To do” button.

    To do:  Task status describes the task that has just been given by the assigner.
    In progress: Task status indicates that the task is still in progress.
    Done: Task status indicates that the task has been completed.

  7. Then the task will move to the tab according to the selected status.
