How to Make Goals via the Talenta Mobile App

You can create new goals either through  the web version of Talenta or via the Talenta Mobile App. That way, you can create KPI/OKR (goals) that you want to achieve for individual, team, organization, and company categories just via your smartphone.

Important
All roles can access this feature and can create all types of goals depending on the access specified in the settings, for example approval for editing goals.

Following are the steps to create a new goal via the Talenta Mobile App.

  1. Open your Talenta Mobile Application and select the   Goals menu.
  2. Click "Create goal".
  3. Then, you will be directed to this page. In the Goal details section, you can fill in the required form.

1 Goal owner Fill in the employee who is responsible for the goal created, provided that this employee will have access to edit the goal.
2 Goal type Select your goal type, Individual, Team, Organization, or Company.
3 Goal name Fill in the Goals name or KPI/OKR title.
4 Goal period

Fill in the period type of Goals. Then, fill in the start and end dates of the Goals in the column below.

- Due date is at least one day after the start date.
- If you select Goal period Custom, then you can select the End date of the Goal for that period.

1 Do not use baselines

Click to create a goal without a baseline. If you tick this, the baseline column will change color to gray and you do not need to fill in the baseline. This option applies to Key Result as well.

You can apply this to either decrease or increase KPI goals.

2 Measurement type Select the Key result measurement type based on Increase KPI for increasing targets or Decrease KPI for decreasing targets.
3 Measurement units Select the unit of measurement for this goal, rupiah, number, or percentage
4 Baseline - Target
  • Baseline: Determine the reference point used to compare goals.
  • Target: Enter the target you want based on the measurement unit you choose.
5 Assign employees Determine the names of employees who have the right to update KPI/OKR/goal achievements later.
6 Goal weight Determine the goal weight to calculate the value of the goals if included in the review.
  1. Then, click "Submit".
  2. Therefore, your goal has been successfully saved if there is a banner like the following.
  3. The goals you create will appear in the Goals list as follows. If the Goal you created is an OKR, click on the Goal to add a Key Result.
  4. Click the Key results tab and click   “+ Add key result”.
  5. Then, complete the required form.

2 Description Fill in a more detailed description of the Key result.
3 Measurement type

Select the Key result measurement type based on Increase KPI for increasing targets or Decrease KPI for decreasing targets.

If you choose Increase KPI, then the Target must be greater than the Baseline (See table number 5). Conversely, if you choose Decrease KPI then the Baseline must be greater than the Target.

4 Measurement units Select the benchmark unit based on Percent, Number, or Rupiah.
5 Baseline - Target
  • Baseline: Determine the reference point used for Key Result comparison purposes.
  • Target: Enter the target you want based on the measurement unit you choose.
6 Goal progress mechanism

You can choose one of two options for updating goal progress or key results, namely:

- Update value accumulation: Click to update all accumulations achieved manually.

- Update value per event:  Click to update the accumulation based on each event. The system will automatically accumulate the value.

If you select update value per event in the key result, the system will ignore the goal progress mechanism in the Goal because the goal progress will adjust to the progress of the key result.

  1. Click "Submit" when you have finished filling in the new Key result details.
  2. Therefore, the new Key result will appear in the list as in the image below.
  3. Click the "three dots" icon if you want to do so Edit or Delete Key results.
  4. If you want to link goals to team, organization, or company goals.
  5. Choose   a goal that will be linked then click   "Submit" . For example, the goals created in this guide are individual goals that are linked to Team goals as follows.
  6. Then the goal has been successfully connected.

    You can remove the association with a click “Remove alignment”.

  7. Click the Activities tab to see a series of actions that have been carried out on this goal according to the timeline.
