In Talenta Insight, there is a New Attendance feature that you can use to view employee absences and time off. New Attendance focuses on the present and not present metrics. The following is an explanation of the data presented on the New Attendance page:
Metrics Summary — Present (Stat Cards): Displays the number of employees who are On Time, Late In, and Early Out, identifies who is most frequently late/leaves early, and calculates the total number of missing work hours.
Metrics Summary — Not Present (Stat Cards): Displays the number of Absent, No Clock In, No Clock Out, and Invalid occurrences, and flags employees who are frequently absent (more than 3 shifts).
Attendance Trend (Line Chart): Monthly attendance trends (On Time / Late In / Early Out) or absences (Absent / No Clock In / No Clock Out / Invalid) according to the selected visual display.
Attendance Breakdown (Bar Chart): Attendance figures broken down by Branch, Organization, Job Level, or Demographics, with an option to compare them with the previous period.
Time Off Trend (Line Chart): Trends in the number of employee time-off days taken based on policy (leave policy) over time.
Employee List (Data Table): A detailed table of individual attendance, with one row per employee.
Present refers to on-time, late-in, and early-out attendance, reflecting the attendance patterns of employees who come to work.
Not present refers to absent, no clock-in, no clock-out, and invalid attendance, which will affect company productivity. The data presented is not real-time, and data sync is scheduled at (WIB): 10 AM, 14 PM, 18 PM, and 01 AM, Sun–Sat. Data syncing takes 4 hours.
Important
The data presented covers the full month (1–31), rather than being based on the attendance cutoff or payroll cutoff.
Here is the explanation.
- Go to insights.talenta.co.
Click Attendance New.
-
There are several main filters that you must apply to customize the data displayed on the dashboard. To apply them, click “Apply filter.
No Column Explanation 1 Period Apply a filter based on a specific period by clicking the starting and ending months. 2 View attendance by Apply a filter based on the employee attendance view for present and not present. 3 Shift Apply a filter based on the shifts that have been created. 4 Employment data Apply a filter based on employee employment data, such as branch, organization, job level, and others. - This filter will affect all charts and tables on the dashboard, but will not affect the main metrics.
- You can also view Last updated, or the last time data syncing was performed.
The following is an explanation of each piece of information displayed on this page.
A. Metrics Summary
In this section, you can view summary information about attendance based on the filters that have been set. If you select the Present or Not Present filter, this section will display different information.
-
If you select the Present filter, you can view Total missing hours on late in (the total number of hours employees were late clocking in) and Total missing hours on early out (the total number of hours employees clocked out early).
This information is not available with the Not Present filter.
- There is a difference in the metrics summary between the Present and Not Present views.
-
Present
The information shown in the Present view includes Most late in (the highest number of late clock-ins for an employee), Most early out (the highest number of early clock-outs for an employee), On time (the number of on-time attendances), Late in (the number of times employees clocked in late), and Early out (the number of times employees clocked out early). You can click the “blue number” to view the complete information in a pop-up. The following is an example of the information pop-up for Late in. Here, you can use the “Search bar” to search for specific employee data and click “Download” to download the data from the pop-up as a spreadsheet.

Example of an Invalid Attendance case: Employee A has a shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM WIB, but clocks in at 6:00 PM and clocks out at 4:00 AM. This is considered invalid, so the employee must submit a shift/attendance request to correct their clock-in and clock-out schedule.
