On Talenta, you can add joint or special holidays in addition to the national holidays designated by the government. These special holidays can be assigned to certain employees only, based on Branch, Organization, Job Position, Job Level, Religion, and Employment Status.
Important
If the employee's time off balance is insufficient (based on the list of time off policy layers that have been set), then a special holiday will still be given without any reduction in the time off balance.
Here are the steps.
Go to the "Settings" menu.
On the Time Management tab, click Holiday.
Select the “Special Holiday” tab.
Click the “Add special holiday” button.
You will be redirected to the following page. Enter the holiday name in the Holiday name field, with a maximum of 60 characters.
Specify the holiday date in the Date column.
You can add information about holidays (optional) in the Note column with a maximum of 200 characters.
Then, you can apply this special holiday to all employees by clicking “All employees”.
However, if you want to apply this to specific employee categories, you can select "Selected criteria". Then, click "Add criteria" to select the employee criteria for which this special holiday applies, such as Branch, Organization, Job Position, Job Level, Religion, Employment Status, and other criteria.
For example, if you want to grant a special holiday to full-time employees to celebrate the New Year, you can select the Employment Status criterion and then check the Permanent checkbox.
After that, you can click on an empty space on this page to create a view like the one in the image below. The selected criteria will be listed in the "is any of [selected criteria]" section, as shown in the image below.
You can also add additional criteria by clicking “Add criteria”. Or, remove criteria by clicking the “-” icon.
You can check “Apply to new hire” to apply the holiday to new employees according to the established criteria.
Or check “Notify employees via email” if you want employees to receive notifications regarding holidays via email.
