The Attendance tab on the Employee profile is used to manage each employee’s attendance data in the company’s database. The following are the steps for submitting changes to attendance and employee shift data:
A. Requesting Changes to Employee Attendance Data (Normal Case)
Click the “Request Attendance” button.
In the Request attendance sidebar, select the attendance date you want to request in the “Attendance date” field. The system will automatically retrieve the “Shift” data for that date. However, if there is more than 1 (one) shift on that date, you can select one of the shifts to request.
Complete the request by entering the requested “Clock in” and/or “Clock out” times. If the company requires break times to be included, enter them in the “Break start” and/or “Break end” fields. Also, make sure the time zone is set correctly.
Enter the reason for changing the attendance data in the Reason field.
You can optionally attach supporting documents to your request by clicking “Browse file.” The successfully uploaded attachments will appear in the following list. You can click the “-” icon to remove an attachment.
