Individual Development Plan (IDP) in Talenta Performance allows Superadmin or employee role holders to create an employee development plan for the company. Through an Individual Development Plan, you can develop and improve employee performance, both for their current and future positions.
In an Individual Development Plan, you can determine several action plans, such as training, self-learning, coaching, and several others.
Here is how to manage Programs and Action Plans in an Individual Development Plan:
A. How to Create, Edit, and Delete a Program in an Individual Development Plan
In the "Talents" menu, click IDP.

You will be directed to the Individual development plan page. Click “Create program.”
You can filter your Individual Development Plan (IDP) list and search for the details you want in this section.

Enter the required information in the available fields.
No. Column Name Description 1 Development plan name Enter the development plan program name. 2 Objective Enter the objective of the program. You can also select one of the objectives entered previously. 3 Employee Select your employee's name from the available dropdown. 4 Informal Education You can view your employee's Informal Education details here. 5 Focus plan Select “Current job position” as the program objective for the employee's current position, or “Future job position” to prepare the employee for a future position. 6 Add action plan Add an action plan by clicking “Add action plan” to enter the details described in point 4. 7 Action plan data details You can view the details of the action plan you created here. -
The following is a list of Action plan fields that you need to complete.
No. Column Name Description 1 Category Enter your action plan category. You can also select one of the categories entered previously. 2 Action plan name Create your action plan name here. 3 Description Describe the action plan you created. 4 Start/End date Enter the start and end dates of the action plan. 5 Attachment Select a supporting file or image to include in the action plan details by clicking “Choose file.” 6 Add new action plan after saving You can click the box to the left of the text to automatically add a new action plan after saving this action plan. Select “Add” to add the Action plan to your IDP Program.
The Action plan will then be added to the Action Plan Details table. Click “Actions” to update, edit, or delete the Action plan.
Select “Submit” to save your new IDP program.
B. How to Change the Status, Edit, and Delete an Action Plan in an Individual Development Plan
In the Individual development plan list, click “View Detail” for the development plan you want to manage.

You will then see your Development plan details.
No. Column Name Description 1 Edit Click the “Edit” button to edit the development plan program. 2 Add action plan Click “Add action plan” to add a new Action plan to your program. Then, click “Add” to save the additional action plan. 3 Employee’s Development plan details This row contains program details, such as the employee's name, position, program objective, action plan status (Completed, In progress, and To do), and the number of each. 4 Filter and Search bar In this row, you can filter your action plans by status and search for a specific action plan in the search bar. In your action plan list, click “Actions”, then Update to change the action plan status.
A pop-up will then appear as follows. You can click the dropdown under Status, then change it to the current action plan status.
In addition, you can click Edit in the “Actions” dropdown in the action plan list.
The following pop-up will then appear. As when entering a new action plan, you will be asked to enter the required information in the system. Click “Save” to save the changes.
To delete an action plan, click Delete in the “Actions” dropdown for one of the action plans you want to delete.
Then, in the pop-up that appears, select “Delete.”
