In the Talenta Performance Review, you can create a new review cycle and score goals. The Cycle Review feature is made to make arrangements regarding the review period, the review method used, and when the review results will be published. Each cycle that is made so that its progress will be summarized in the Overview cycle chart, you can learn about it here.
Following are the steps for creating a new Review Cycle and viewing the details of the Talenta Performance review results:
A. How to Create a New Cycle Review
- Log in to review.talenta.co.
- Click the Review Cycle menu.
- Click "Create New Cycle".
- In the Create your cycle pop-up, select one of your cycle objectives, namely Performance review, Competency review, or Evaluation review. Fill in the name of the cycle to be created. Try to make the cycle name complete and detailed as shown below. Then, click "Create".
If you select Competency review, then the list of Employees displayed will be employees whose job positions already have competency assignments
- Then, you will be redirected to the Create new cycle page.

No. Column/button names Description 1 Edit cycle name Buttons to rename the cycle or change the purpose of the cycle: performance, competency, or evaluation. 2 Duplicate from existing cycles You can choose to duplicate the cycle setting from a cycle that has already been made by clicking "Yes" or "No". 3 Time frame for this cycle Select the review time frame for the period the employee's performance will be assessed. - Custom: Custom timeframe.
- Monthly: Monthly timeframe.
- Quarterly: The period of time per quarter.
- Half-yearly: Semester timeframe.
- Yearly: The period of time per year.
4 Start cycle on Fill in the start and end limits of the period to be assessed.
The end date automatically follows the selected time frame category, except for the custom category.
5 Review period Enter the review value input period. The start date will be automatically selected H+1 from the “end date” time frame. Meanwhile, the End Date Displays the deadline for input values and can be extended if needed. 6 Repeat cycle automatically after this cycle ends If this information is enabled, the cycle will automatically repeat after the cycle ends. 7 Who will be reviewed in this cycle? Select the employee names that will be included in the assessment period by clicking "Select employees". Or, select all employees by clicking the "Select all employees" checkbox. - Then, proceed to the next section on the Create review cycle page, which is a review method based on the job position.

You can also disable this function when the cycle has been successfully created, via the action item on the cycle review page.

2 Manager reviews Click the toggle button to activate the Manager review method (Managers review their team of employees).
Specifically for the Competency review, choosing a template is optional because the competency group and assigned items will be the main indicators.
- Automatically Assign the Employee Manager to Each Selected Member: Checkmark to automatically assign a supervisor as a reviewer based on the employee approval line.
- Display Review Result in Details: Checkmark so that employees can see the review results of each reviewer in detail.
- Include Goals: Checkmark to be able to include the goals of each employee as an indicator for the review. This option can be used if the question type of the template is a rating or percentage. Then, a column appears to enter the goal load as follows.Include Goals are not included in the Competency Review.
3 360-degree reviews Click the toggle button to activate the 360-degree review method (Reviews from subordinates, colleagues at the same level, and managers).
Specifically for the Competency review, choosing a Template is optional.
- Display 360 review results for managers: Checkmark so that managers can see the results of reviews or pending reviews.
- Include goals: Checkmark to be able to include goals for each employee as review indicators. This option can be used if the question type of the template is a rating or percentage. Then, a column appears to enter the goal load as follows.Include Goals are not included in the Competency Review.
- Let member pick their co-worker: Checkmark so members can choose which co-workers to review.
- Allow reviewers to reject review tasks: Checkmark to allow reviewers to reject review assignments.4 Review team Click the toggle button to activate the Team review method (Employees review colleagues from one team).
Specifically for the Competency review, choosing a Template is optional.
- Template options: Click to select a team review template.
- Include goals: Checkmark to be able to include goals for each employee as review indicators. This option can be used if the question type of the template is a rating or percentage. Then, a column appears to enter the goal load as follows.Include Goals are not included in the Competency Review.
5 Self review Click the toggle button to activate the Self-review method (Employees review personal abilities).
Specifically for the Competency review, choosing a Template is optional.
- Template options: Click to select a team review template.
- Self Review first before Manager Review: Checkmark to apply for Self Review first before conducting Manager Review.
- Include goals: Checkmark to be able to include goals for each employee as review indicators. This option can be used if the question type of the template is a rating or percentage. Then, a column appears to enter the goal load as follows.Include Goals are not included in the Competency Review.
6 Use weights This checkbox is active if you select more than 1 (one) review method. This feature works so that your review score is calculated based on the weight you set.
Use weight is not found in the Competency Review.
7 Publish score after Determining when the results of the review will be shared with employees.
- Complete Review: Publish score can be done if all reviewers have collected all their reviews.
- Review Period End: Publish score can be done if it has passed the end review period date.
- Both: Publish scores can be done if all reviewers have collected all their reviews and have passed the end date of the review period.8 Cancel/Submit You can click the "Cancel" button to return to the previous page or click "Submit" to save the Review Cycle. - The review cycle that you have created will appear on the start page of the Review Cycle sub-menu.
B. How to View Details of Review Results
After creating a new review cycle on Talenta Performance, you as the Super Admin can see the details of the results of the review given. Here are the steps:
- On the Cycle Review page, click “Actions” on the cycle you want to see details for. Then, click "View details".
- On the next page, select "Actions" then "Details".
- Click "View results".
- Then, you can see the display of the review and goals assessment form as follows.
- On the goals display that uses indicators are goals that have a period within the cycle period range.
- Reviewers can give the value of each goal according to the achievement of the goals so that the system will calculate the total score of the goals and other indicators such as templates.
- The system will calculate the final score based on the weight of the goal determined in making the cycle.
